Keryn Lafferty

Accounts Administrator

Keryn Lafferty has been an Accounts Administrator with Yavapai Realty for 7 years. Though born in California, she has resided in Northern Arizona and the Verde Valley area for most of her life. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.

Keryn holds a B.S. Degree from Northern Arizona University and has completed post graduate classes at Yavapai College in accounting and Quickbooks. She administers the financial side of our company, and manages the Designated Broker’s personal investment properties. She works with our vendors and our rental customers and functions as a behind the scenes support staff member for our downtown office team. Esther Talbert is the Designated Broker and owner of Yavapai Realty. She has been serving the Real Estate needs of clients in the Sedona-Verde Valley and Central Arizona for 39 years.
She came to the Cottonwood area from Southern California in 1968 and began selling Real Estate for Jim Gray of Gray Realty- one of the first established realty companies in the Sedona Verde Valley. Five years later in 1973, Esther founded Yavapai Realty.

Esther Talbert is an expert in her field and is well versed in Real Estate values and growth throughout Central Arizona and Sedona-Verde Valley; specializing in investment Real Estate, tax trades and commercial real estate acquisition and sales. Investments comprise 70% of her business while consumer residential sales complete the other 30%. She has been a multi-million dollar producer for over 30 years. Striving to serve with excellence is her goal.

Other Business Interest

Esther started her own personal company over 34 years ago. This company is focused on Real Estate Acquisition and Management. Projects include, property improvement and remodel, new construction projects both residential and commercial, land to hold for development, sale or trade. As she puts it “ I always love to have an on going project, something to create and do”.

Real Estate knowledge, ongoing education and involvement are of key importance. Esther’s key interests include:

• State Water Issues and sanitation
• State and Muncipality Growth Laws and Legislation as they affect Yavapai County
• Land splits, zoning, growth plans, and general plans of each community
• State and Federal Hwy trends and budgets to extend and improve roadways that affect the valley
• Forest Service planning with respect to trade negotiation to become private lands
• Taxation and property vesting for tax treatment and reduction of liability
• Investment Counceling- looking at the big picture, 3-5 year goals to gain wealth in real estate acquisition and sale

• Analysis of absorption levels on existing real estate as they relate to supply/demand and gain/loss
